The Kangaroo Island Marathon is a spectacular event set entirely within Flinders Chase National Park, South Australia. Known for it’s rugged beauty and wildlife, this course offers runners an unforgettable experience combining road and trail running.
Course Details:
- Distance: 42.2 km (Full Marathon)
- Start Location: Entrance to Flinders Chase National Park, approx. 900m from the race village
- Finish Location: Flinders Chase Visitors Centre
- Format: Out-and-back route
- Cut-off Time: 6 hours 30 minutes
- Start Time: 7:30 AM
- Minimum Age: 18 years on race day
