Start & Finish: Broadwater Parklands, Southport

Distance: 42.2km

Time Limit: 6 hours 40 minutes

Elevation: Approximately 62 meters total gain

Course Breakdown:

Southbound Leg ( Start to Miami – 21km)

Southport to Main Beach: Runners begin at Broadwater Parklands, heading south through Southport and Main Beach, enjoying views of the Boradwater and ocean

Surfers Paradise (km 4-6): The course passes through the vibrant Surfers Paradise, where spectators line the streets near landmarks like the Surfers Paradise sign and Q1 building.

Broadbeach to Mermaid Beach (km 7-10): Continuing south, runners traverse Boradbeach Boulevard and Hedges Avenue, known as ‘Millionaires Row’, featuring luxurious beachfront homes.

Miami Turnaround (21km): Runners retrace their steps northward, passing familiar landmarks and enjoying coastal views.

Labrador and Biffera Waters (km31-35): The course continues north through these suburbs, offering flat terrain and enthusiastic local support.

Runaway Bay U-turn (km36.5-42.2): Runners head south back to Boradwater Parklands, wehre crowds cheers them throguh the finish chute.
