Widely known as one of the most beautiful roads in the world, you will be running along this winding two-lane highway looking out over cliffs to the southern coastline of Australia. Runners have the road to themselves as it is closed to traffic for the event, so rely on the trees and scenery to keep you company.

About the Destination
Lorne, in the Australian state of Victoria, is a beautiful seaside town set between the Loutit Bay and the Otway Forest. It is a lovely town with quaint cafes, boutiques, and galleries just 140 kilometres south of Melbourne, approximately a 2-hour drive. The town features a sheltered 2-kilometre beach with plenty of places to picnic and play in the sand and water. There are plenty of nearby attractions for you to discover before or after the marathon.
